The Graham Sister Reunion - the Doll Party!

When we were brainstorming the fun the things we could do with Cydnee here, I suggested have a doll party.(since I will be missing the one held at the reunion this year! poo!) This is something we try to do annually and we usually take months preparing for it. We pulled this one off in week!

 The formal invitation read as follows:

To the Young Ladies of the House,

You are cordially invited to attend the much anticipated Tea and Doll Party.  This event will be held at Rosewood Park, the residence of the most amiable Wendee Graham, on June the 10^th. The address is 8 White Rock Trail in the city Lucas.

Beginning at 10 o’clock in the morning, activities will include lessons in etiquette, art, and dancing. Tea will be served at 12:30. Please plan on spending the day and then returning to your own estate for the evening meal. There will be no accommodations for those of the male gender.

Dress as a contemporary of Jane Austin and bring a basket to collect your paraphernalia.  Please set your hair in curlers the previous night in preparation for our Beauty Parlor. Make haste and send word of your intentions for I daresay this will be the talk of all high society!

Then we had an etiquette class, a tea luncheon, shopping in the General Store, a stroll around the yard with our new parasols, and a painting class. I just love Doll Parties!
