oh happy yumminess.
all favs and here is how:
Pepperochini Pork: get a pork roast and a bottle of those yellow pepperchinis, put both in crock pot and roast 4-5 hrs on high. When it starts getting really fragrant I shred the roast with a fork and let it cook for another hour to really marinate. If the roast is frozen I put it in the night before on low and it will be ready for dinner the next day. Excellent over Mashed Potatoes because it's a little spicy. Seriously our favorite and the easiest you will every do!
Broccoli: steam. meanwhile saute fresh garlic in olive oil and then drizzle over broccoli and top with real Parmesan cheese.
Butternut squash n apples: A Thanksgiving Favorite and a must, this will make your mouth very happy. Peal, clean, and slice squash and 6-8 green apples and arrange alternating as shown in large casserole dish. Melt a whole stick of butter (yes) in saucepan and add 1/2 c REAL maple syrup, 1/4 t allspice and 1/4 t (or more!) nutmeg. Drizzle happy sauce over squash n apples, sprinkle with a lot of currants and some pepper. Bake 45 mins or until squash is tender. yummy and pretty!
Oh my gosh we love pepperoncini pork! I make it all the time. We eat it with rice.
